Check back often, because this is a really awesome place to work (though we know we're a bit biased). If you're a job seeker that needs help with resumes, applications, interviews, finding jobs online, or more, our librarians are available to help with one-on-one assistance.

If you’re looking for employment, here are some helpful links and information that could help you in your search.

Wyoming Library Jobs – Browse library vacancies from around the state on the Wyoming State Library job board.

Wyoming Department of Workforce Services (DWS) Wyoming’s official government agency dedicated to assist the state’s workforce. They offer various guides on workers’ rights, unemployment, and training resources for job seekers.

Wyoming@Work A site offered by the Department of Workforce Services that serves as a portal for employment opportunities in the state. Once you create an account on this site, you will be able to build resumes and cover letters, as well as apply to jobs directly and seamlessly. There is also an option to take assessments that can help find jobs that best fit for your skills. It is the perfect one-stop-shop for Wyoming residences looking for employment.

Climb Wyoming – A nonprofit group dedicated to helping single moms on their career development and employment journey. They have trained more than 300 women statewide in various medical careers alone. Climb Wyoming has an office in Casper where they feature training for a large variety of fields.

Having a hard time applying for jobs online?

Not only can we cheer for you and hold your hand (metaphorically speaking, of course) while you submit those online job applications, we also have a ton of great resources to help you along the way.

LinkedIn Learning

With your library card, you have access to hundreds of developmental training videos via LinkedIn Learning for free. They offer hundreds of lessons that cover new methods and skills on things such as applying to jobs online, interviewing tips, and more.

Career Center

Mometrix Test Prep online offers comprehensive resources and practice materials to help individuals prepare for and excel in various career-related exams, supporting their professional development and advancement.

Browse all the job hunting books we have available to check out. From the "300 Best Jobs Without a Four-Year Degree," and "What Color is Your Parachute?", to resume writing guides like "Resumes for Dummies," you are sure to find something that can help ease the search for a new job.

Book-A-Librarian

Not only do we have public computers available to use when you’re ready to apply to jobs, there are also staff members on hand who can help you along the way. Staff members are ready to help you navigate job board websites and online applications.

Wyoming BOOTS (Business Occupational Outlook Tool Sets) – A website dedicated to helping WY residents explore educational and career opportunities. Their Career Coach tool offers you the ability to take a free career assessment and browse careers and educational programs best suited to you. Their SkillsMatch tool helps you match your interests and skills to personalized career and education recommendations.

Casper College Continuing Education for Community MembersCasper College offers great opportunities to community members for professional or personal development. They offer non-credit Community Education courses with lots of fun and interesting class choices. Their Workforce Training, offered through their Center for Training and Development, can help prepare you enter fields such as healthcare, child care, construction and more. They also offer free educational assistance at their Adult Learning Center.

CareerOneStop A website sponsored by the US Department of Labor that offers career training, educational videos, and local job searches. They have dedicated pages for specifics groups such as young adult, entry-level workers, 55+ workers, veterans, and more.
